Installation Process

Quote given based on desktop survey and a solar system design for your requirements. - Site Survey
We carry out a detailed site survey, discuss the finer details, cross the T’s and dot the I’s. Initial Deposit (25%) & DNO Applications
Secure your booking and start the process, we submit any required grid applications.Product Delivery & Second Payment (25%)
Equipment is ordered and delivered, followed by the second stage payment.Cooling-Off Period (2 Weeks)
You have a 14-day cooling-off period unless waived in writing.Scaffolding Erected
All access is safely prepared for the installation.Installation & Commissioning (1–2 Days)
Your solar system is professionally installed and commissioned by our team.Handover & Certification
You receive your full handover pack, including your MCS certificate.Final Payment & Scaffold Removal
The remaining balance is paid, and scaffolding is promptly removed.

Are you MCS certified, and why does it matter?
Yes, Solar Insight is fully MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) certified. This means your system is installed to industry-approved standards, and it also makes you eligible for the Smart Export Guarantee (SEG)—allowing you to sell unused electricity back to the grid.
Do you only use one type or brand of solar panel?
No—we believe in flexibility. We’re not tied to any one brand, which means we can recommend and install the best products based on your specific needs. We work with trusted manufacturers like Aiko, Duracell, Tesla, Fox, and Sigenergy, offering systems with up to 30-year performance warranties.
How experienced is your team if you're a new company?
While Solar Insight is a relatively new company, our team brings decades of combined experience in solar PV installation, electrical work, and roofing. Every member is hand-picked for their skills and attention to detail. We’re small enough to care, and big enough to cope.
What kind of warranty or protection do you offer?
We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty and all customer deposits are fully insured through IWA (Independent Warranty Association). This gives you added peace of mind that your investment is protected, even in the unlikely event that we cease trading.
